What is CBD?

What are cannabinoids?
Cannabinoids are active compounds produced by all cannabis plants. Cannabinoids found in plants are technically called phytocannabinoids, while cannabinoids produced by the human body are called endocannabinoids.
How does CBD work?
CBD’s effects are a result of its interaction with the endocannabinoid system. CBD impacts the endocannabinoid system indirectly, most often through activation of outside receptors and interaction with enzymes.
What is the difference between cannabis, marijuana and hemp?
Cannabis is the genus name used to identify a type of flowering plant that includes marijuana and hemp.

Marijuana plants are high in THC, the chemical compound that causes psychoactive effects.
Hemp plants are low in THC and high in Cannabidiol, or CBD.
How much CBD is in your tinctures?
Our CBD bottles & product descriptions feature the abbreviations oz & mg. The amount of CBD in each of our tinctures is measured in MG, whereas the size of the bottle is listed as oz.
How do I store my CBD?
For care and maintenance of your tincture, always shake before use and keep out of direct sunlight. Once opened, your oil will last 60 days without refrigeration. If you wish to use your oil after this time period, place in the refrigerator to preserve freshness.
What is CO2 Extraction?
CO2 is hands-down, the best extraction method available today. CO2 extraction compresses CO2 gas into a liquid and uses it as a solvent to extract matter from plants and all sorts of goods. CO2 is the same compound all humans breathe out of their lungs – it’s safe, eco-friendly, and effective.
Will CBD Oil show up on a drug test?
All Pure Orgnaics Hemp is grown under U.S. directives requiring less than 0.3% THC.
However, advanced drug tests are sometimes able to detect these unavoidable compounds. We highly recommend that you do not consume hemp or other cannabinoid products if you expect to be drug-tested.
Is CBD oil legal?
Yes, Pure Organics CBD oil is completely legal.
Are your products Organic?
Yes, all of our products are 100% organic, but because our Hemp is grown overseas, we cannot use the USDA organic logo on our products.
Will CBD help my Condition?
Due to FDA regulations, we cannot and will not make any claims that our CBD products will cure or aide in any health conditions.
